This is actually a very thin book but super neat. So I have the Little People coloring book also. So i'll reference it compared to this.

So this book is super cute. It has pages about influential people and a little description in kids language. Unlike the coloring book, it only has about 1 to 2 lines. The coloring goes into a full paragraph. Also, this one is full of colors. There are stickers in the back (100 of them) that you are supposed to place on some of the pages about some of the characters. So this is pretty neat engaging way to learn. This book is thin. So was the coloring book one. But this one is thinner.

What I didn't like is that the books repeated a lot of the same people. So it doesn't make sense to get these two books for the same kid which was my original intent. Now some characters were different but too much were the same. In this one, they had one asian person, which I appreciate. They male, female, different diversity, different roles. They had Dolly Parton, which was pretty neat!

Here are all the characters in the book:

amelia earhart
greta thunberg
marie curie
jijienne westwood
muhammad ali
frida kahlo
josephine baker
maya angelo
zaha hadid
bruce lee
mary shelley
david attenborough
david bowie
stephen hawking
dolly parton

In all, I think this is a very sweet and great book to give to your kiddy. It's fine, has stickers, but also educational! And we need our children to look up to all kind of people, and not youtubers please. = )

A Really Great Activity Book

I would say calling this book a 'sticker book' might be a little bit of a stretch. While it does actually have 100 stickers, some of them are small dots and 16 of them are the same exact little pink flower.

I do, however, like this little book and wish is was twice as long. It is a fantastic starting off point for kids to get to know a lot of different famous people they may not have heard of previously. People from scientists, singers, athletes to artist and activists.

Each page has a small child sized blurb about the person and then a writing or drawing activity based on that person. For example on the page for Mary Shelley, who wrote Frankenstein the activity is to write a spooky story.

The back of this book says ages 3+ and I think maybe age 6 and up. If a younger child wanted to complete the activities they would obviously need help.

Fun activity books. Not enough stickers for my kid, but still nice

We are devotees to the Little People, Big Dreams series of books. Seriously, we have about 30 of the books, plus a coloring book, journal, and this sticker/activity book. This book is nice. My son enjoyed it. You have a selection of artists, sports figures, musician, etc. and there is a small blurb about each person (not much. Maybe two sentences each) and then directions on the activity to do. Each page has a few stickers that go with it and usual some other activity--draw something, color something, etc. (Like Zaha Hadid page asks the reader to design their own building, draw features on an outline of a Hadid building, and then put stickers of cranes and hard hats on the page. That's just one example, but they are all similar to that. Some just have stickers and no other activities.) My son would have liked more stickers, but generally enjoyed the book. IT's fun and nice way to introduce a variety of historical figures to kids.

Activity Book - More than Stickers

As a big fan of the Little People, Big Dreams books I was looking forward to sharing this sticker activity book with my child (who loves stickers). I was surprised to find that there were only actually 2 sheets of stickers in this book, and the rest were activity pages to make lists, color pictures, etc. I like that this has a wide variety of characters and even if you don’t have the full book collection, there are still fun details to learn about each person featured.

The pages themselves are colorful and illustrated as beautifully as the books are. The pages are thick and don’t show through to the other side when colored in. The stickers are easy to remove from their pages and have quality adhesive.

I recommend this for kids who enjoy learning about past and present historical figures in an interactive way.

learning coloring book

My 6-year-old got this book as a birthday gift. My kindergartener was not able to read this so we selected a page, I read and they colored. They liked it a lot. But has since been distracted and moved onto other toys. Not much of a colorer if there are other kids to play with, but the pages are interesting and can see them coming back to the book and finding it interesting even past 2nd grade.

It's OK but not alot to it

We have a good number of the Little People, Big Dreams series. This book has a two page spread for 15 of those people with a short description/bio and places where stickers from the back can be placed.  Several of the bios have short coloring or writing activities.  The two pages of stickers certainly doesn't seem like 100 but there are a good number of tiny flowers and stars mixed in, so I trust they got to that number.  This is a pretty short activity book with not a lot of interaction.  It's cute in that there is the biography element and that may spark interest to get the full length book on some of these individuals.  It's OK but not a favorite from a fun or engagement perspective.

Such a cute addition to the Little People, Big Dreams collection

We absolutely love the books in this collection! This is another great one. It is small, we would love it if it was bigger, and contained more activities, because we didn't want it to end. The book, as all in the collection, has wonderful illustrations throughout. This book comes with 100 stickers that they can use throughout the book. Each activity relates to an influential person, and a short blurb is included with each person. We also have the coloring book in this collection, which I like a bit more simply because it has more pages, therefore more activities, but that does not take away how nice this one is. As I said before, I just wish it were longer. Overall, a great addition to your little one's books!
