Dark, funny, original.

I throughly enjoyed this edition. I was unfamiliar with the source material but very quickly was engrossed in the story. The art and story work together seamlessly. The only issue, and it's a very minor one, is that it took me a few pages to track the panels in the correct order. Some parts are single page format, some parts you read from left to right across both pages. Once you see how that's done, it's easy to follow.

Beautiful Art and excellent storyline so far..

Pros: everything, this deluxe version seems really well made. The “invisible” raised mask teeth they put on the front was a nice surprise as well.

Con: bent in a corner to the point the last 10-15 pages’s corners as well. That’s online shopping.. [*shrug*]

Another fine addition to my collection

I purchased this book alongside vox machina: origins since they're both recent releases and... Wow. I'm so glad that spectacular comic writers still exist because I've been having the time of my life. The art style looked almost abstract at times, which added a new level of horror to an already scary book. The story is to write home about, which is why I'm gonna stick with this series.
