Bruno, USA Today bestselling author of Titanborn [Praise for The Distance] "A post-apocalyptic tale of aliens, conspiracy theories and wild action. Packed with devious twists, dynamic characters and an ending you won't see coming." --Jonathan Maberry, New York Times bestselling author "Jeremy Robinson is the next James Rollins." --Chris Kuzneski, New York Times bestselling author "Jeremy Robinson will make a mark in suspense for years to come." --David Lynn Golemon, New York Times bestselling author [Praise for Instinct] "INSTINCT is a jungle fever of raw adrenaline that goes straight for the jugular." --Thomas Greanias, New York Times bestselling author "Robinson writes rocket-boosted action and brilliant speculation all seamlessly blend into a rollercoaster ride of suspense and adventure." --James Rollins, New York Times bestselling author "Jeremy Robinson has one wild imagination, slicing and stitching his tale(s) together with the deft hand of a surgeon." --Steve Berry, New York Times bestselling author "Jeremy Robinson takes cultural effluvia and mines it for fantastic themes, mixing in action, humor and a hip dose of self-awareness." -- New Hampshire Magazine "Jeremy Robinson is the only writer since Hitchcock who's been able to blend suspense, sci-fi, paranormal, and the supernatural together seamlessly." -- Suspense Magazine "Robinson writes compelling thrillers, made all the more entertaining by the way he incorporates aspects of pop culture into the action." --Booklist "Robinson tells rich stories that move at a relentless pace while stopping just long enough to ask profound questions." -- Famous Monsters of Filmland "Robinson proceeds at a nonstop pace, with one cliffhanger after another." --Kirkus Reviews "Relentless pacing and numerous plot twists. Thriller fans will find these audaciously plotted novels from Robinson enormously satisfying." --Publisher's Weekly The prospect of writing a sequel to INFINITE (my all-time bestselling novel) has intimidated me for years. Sequels are tricky business, especially when the first book is so positively received. There's a lot of pressure to capture the same magic, to offer the same surprising experience. I was certain I'd never write a sequel, but readers made sure I never stopped thinking about it. Eventually, I came to the realization that INFINITE2 needed to continue Will's story, but it didn't need to feel like its predecessor. In fact, it would be better for the reader, and for Will, if I didn't try to repeat the same journey of solitary torture and surreal discovery. As a result, INFINITE2 is a different kind of story, not just a continuation, but an evolution capable of standing on its own, rather than in the shadow of its predecessor.Thank you for continuing the journey with me, and with Will. Hopefully we can figure out what's real, and what isn't, together. [info] Fast Loading Scenario: INFINITE2 BEGIN. "Robinson puts his distinctive mark on MICHAEL CRICHTON TERRITORY... One of the best JURASSIC PARK SUCCESSORS." -- Publisher's Weekly - Starred Review "Robinson blends myth, science, and terminal velocity action like NO ONE ELSE." --#1 New York Times bestselling author Scott Sigler "There's nothing timid about Robinson as he DROPS HIS READERS OFF THE CLIFF without a parachute and somehow manages to catch us an INCH OR TWO FROM DOOM." -- New York Times bestselling author Jeff Long "Just when you think 21st-CENTURY AUTHORS have come up with every possible way of destroying the world, ALONG COMES JEREMY ROBINSON." -- New Hampshire Magazine Jeremy Robinson is the New York Times and #1 Audible bestselling author of sixty novels and novellas, including Infinite , NPC , and The Others , as well as the Jack Sigler thriller series and Project Nemesis , the highest selling, original (non-licensed) kaiju novel of all time. He's known for mixing elements of science, history and mythology, which has earned him the #1 spot in Science Fiction and Action-Adventure, and secured him as the top creature feature author. A review for the non-fanatic of Jeremy Robinson

I enjoyed Infinite 1 immensely, not so much this sequel. If I were a die hard fan that read all of the author's books, perhaps I too would be gushing with praise over Easter Eggs. As a fan of well plotted, unpredictable fiction I found this to be a wasted effort on me. Apparently the latest trend in contemporary science fiction is to have characters display great heroics inside a computer simulation as in this tale. The hero's constantly jumping from sim to sim got pretty old very quickly for me. Twenty some chapters in I was bored enough to jump to the end to confirm that the finish was as perfunctory as the sims...it was.
The writing was very good, characters were likeable, simply not an intriguing tale in my opinion. Passing along for any non-fanatics debating a purchase of this book or audiobook.
Unfortunately, weak sequels still sell and I wasted this month's audible credit on Infinite 2.

Great Follow up to my favorite book

When i saw that Jeremy Robinson was making a sequel to Infinite i couldn't wait to read it. When i read the first Infinite i was blown away by the story, main characters development and the writing style of the author. It was equal parts intense, funny, abusrd, sci-fi and emotional. I was literally surprised at multiple parts of the book and anytime i thought i knew what was going to happen the story got crazier. After i finished reading it i immeditaly started reading more books by him because i loved his style. I read "Flux", "Tether" and "The Others". All of which are great and have the same mixture of great story, great characters, comedy, excitment and emotion.

Infinite 2 is no exception. I was curious where the story was going to go becasue the first one wrapped up nicely. The sequel had just as many surprises as the first and i really enjoyed the way he used the "Great Escape".

If you're a Jeremy Robinson fan or just a fan of space books and sci-fi, do yourself a favor and listen to both Infinite and Infinite 2.
