Good song selection, but many songs are oversimplified.

This book has a wide array of songs, a decent mix of current and classics. I enjoy the book, but my main complaint is that many of the songs are oversimplified. Chords are often watered down to their basic major forms, and thus some songs sound slightly "off" when you play them. If you are a beginner, this is a good book. If you have been playing a while, some of the arrangements will annoy you.

Not so Ukelele

I think it's basically a fake book for guitar. Save your money unless you have an extra low string.

Inaccuracies are hidden gems

Tremendous selection of songs across variety of styles in a readable format. Others complained about inaccuracies. As an intermediate player, I've found a few inaccuracies, but that's part of the journey. Change keys, change a chord here and there, try some alternate phrasing, and make it your own.

Great Book!

LOVE these Ukulele fake books for my guitar! They have all the songs I want, and more, in comfortable keys. Plastic spiral binding is a nice plus, too. Only negative is songs are on 2 pages, not one.

400 songs. 50 great ones, 350 duds.

Not that it's not a bargain, even with only 50 good songs. And by good songs, I don't mean quality tunes...it's just that some songs were never meant for the Ukelele, no matter how skillfully played.

Great purchase

Lots of fun music and love the chord diagrams, especially when it is a new chord for me, or one I don't use very often. Great learning tool and even more fun when friends join you for a jam session!

Great Songs

A good book but it would be nice to have the chord diagrams listed on each

Hard to view chord diagram and play at same time.

My big complaint was that the chord diagram was at the very top of the page not on top of the notes. You have to keep looking up for finger placement causing a pause in play.

Good Value

Great addition to my music library. Good assortment of songs and most should be familiar.

Outstanding Single Source

This is an outstanding resource for ukulele groups. Has great variety in genres (but no holiday/children songs). Generally not too many chords (but good for beginners). It works well for everybody w/ tune/rhythm notation. Most songs are on one page. Has smooth ‘roadmap signs’ when a song jumps around. Get 9x12 size for easy reading. Songs you don’t know are easy to learn w/ youtube, an ideal choice for expanding one’s personal repertoire.
