The Red Gloves Collection

As usual Karen is just inspiring. Each story is more beautiful than the last. What a wonderful book to bring out each Christmas season and reread and give as gifts to people you love, or people who need love! I recommend it highly to all, woman and men alike! The first story will be a major movie next season!!

I never get enough of Karen Kingsbury's books, so it was great having three books in one cover. The price was also right.

Someone had loaned my wife one of the red glove series books to read. She loved it so much that we tried to find the rest of the series in stores. We could not find all of the series at the time, but found this Red Gloves Collection online. It has the complete series and the price was great. My wife liked it so much, we bought another collection as a gift for a friend. I recommend this book.

At the book club I attend, the ladies were talking about how special this book was to them and how they go back to it each Christmas season to reread some, or all, of the short stories. I ordered the book and found what they said to be true. At our book club Christmas gathering this year we reviewed Gideon's Gift, from the The Red Gloves Collection. The ladies range from their early-30's to their mid-60's and there were 16 of us present. Everyone found the story to be uplifting and true to the spirit of Christmas. A great book to keep on your bookshelf to read time and time again.

It only takes a few hours to read one of the novels in The Red Gloves Collection, but you will remember them for a lifetime. Karen Kingsbury chooses a character in each phase of life -- a small child, a teenage girl, a young woman, a woman in her 80s -- to show how God uses those around us to bring us closer to Him. I bought copies of this book for my grandaughter and my mother. My mother is passing it to her friends.

I belong to a church Book Club, and we have read several of Karen Kingsbury's books. This one has 4 small books included in this book. All of the books include a story about red gloves, but different topics. All four were very interesting stories. I enjoyed the series; it didn't disappoint me. Well worth reading.
