The MacArthur Topical Bible: A Comprehensive Guide to Every Major Topic Found in the Bible

I go to Grace Community Church where John MacArthur is Senior Pastor. I listen to his MP3 files, have the study bible, this is another great tool in anyone serious about the word of God. Note: if you want a watered down gospel, MacArthur books are not for you.

The vast amount of the various topics covered is unbelievable. The detail is tremendous. It is a great help when organizing sermons and Bible Studies.

This topical bible from John MacArthur is a truly underrated and valuable asset to anyones bible study!
You can search for any biblical or theological topic or term, like you would a concordance, but this has the verses written out, not just the references. So it is almost all biblical verses included, but not in the typical order of the bible, but basically an expanded concordance. It is written in the NKJV translation.
I love it, so that I can already see and read the whole verse on the subject I am looking for quickly without having to look it up, allowing me to see exactly what context I am looking for.
It is quite bulky and heavy. It’s a tool to be used at home or office, but not a bible you would tote around.
My only complaint is the inspection process by the manufacturer, because mine came with the first couple pages cut weird, and too long. Not really sure how that happened and made it out, since it didn’t come in a sealed box, so whoever put it in the shipping box had to see the obvious defect. I attached pictures (ignore the coffee stains on the pages, those were mine LOL). But, I am not going to deduct a star for that because it could have just been a random oversight. Everything else seems to be made very well-made, and it wasn’t that big of a deal to just cut the excess paper off.
Highly recommend for even a novice in bible study!

I am a fan of MacArthurs study tools but I was really disappointed in this topical bible. Many topics not covered and to leave out forgiveness was a real let down.

Great resource, Dr. MacArthur never disappoints with study materials and books. Am always wandering if he would see a Systematic Theology volumes and comprehensive book on how to do bible study. Honestly-show how some of the tools provided by Dr. Mac-how to best use them and other tools. Would be a lot better if the book was bigger-length and height. Would see it broken up in to three or four books and digitally would be a lot better. Sometimes authors do not always have control over the packaging of a volume-please keep this in mind when critiquing it.
