Odd Odd Thomas

Love Dean Koontz and a big Odd Thomas fan. Tend to fun read and very funny. This one was funny AND tedious. Too much back story about conversations he had with characters before book started and lots of repeating himself about his lost love which got annoying since I have read all the Odd books and he usually does not go on THAT much about her. OK but very flat in spots. And the bad guy was creepy but a big nothing in the overall plot line.
I got this product as an audio book from Amazon.

Dean Koontz novel

I low some people believe this is some of Dean Koontz's best work, but I disagree. I love his books where he includes a dog caracter in the storyline. One can tell that Dean loves dogs.

Starting in reverse.

This is the first book I've read of the Odd Thomas series. Even though I'm starting with the most recent installment I have enjoyed this book immensely. Now of course I must acquire the previous books. Two things that have contributed to my enjoyment of this book are the injections of humor & witty word play along with the near absence of swearing. Swearing does not normally bother me at all but I found its absence to be reminiscent of kinder gentler times, as if this is a period piece, adding to the "over the rainbow" quality of the story. I recommend this book whole heartedly.

The worst of the Odd Thomas series.

This book was a huge disappointment to me and I feel as if I wasted both my money and time.
