Stick With the Kids Almanac

After finding the National Geographic Kids Almanac to be a very enjoyable learning experience, I thought the National Geographic Almanac (for adults) would continue and even enhance that experience. Wrong. Really wrong!
The Kids version is appealing, vivid, and more comprehensive. For example, the maps of the continents in the Kids version include more detail including the capitals of the individual countries and the listing of individual countries also includes more information.
As well as being less informative, the "adult" version is comparatively poor in presentation. Everything is smaller, including unbelievably the print size, darker, and duller--despite the fact that the "adult" pages are larger.
The kids version is also less expensive. Do yourself a favor regardless of your age and get the kids version.

Almanac for everyone!

I honestly am so thankful I ordered this online. My nephew is such a bookworm and loves all factual books. I bought this for him and it not only arrived in time, but anything from NatGeo is amazing. I love the beauty of each picture they intentionally put in there. Love the random facts. I think it's perfect for curious kids. It truly does provide so much information, and my nephew loves it. So happy with my purchase!

Well presented, interesting, beautiful images. You might learn something!

I bought this for a grandchild with the thought that it might distract him from his phone during the long road trip back home after visiting for the holidays. I originally saw the book at Costco and almost bought it for myself. My grandson’s Mom, Dad, and Grandmother all commented on how much they enjoyed perusing the book before they embarked for home. It’s a quality book, the pictures and articles are of the quality you would expect from National Geographic. Although the ‘2019’ in the title will probably limit the appeal as the year wears on, I may yet buy it for myself. Good stuff!

It was a Christmas Present Hit

We gave them to our three grandsons for a Christmas present. They range from 20 to 13 years old. All during our Christmas get together they and their Dad could not stop reading them. Each one of these books contain very interesting and sometimes unusual information. Highly recommend them as good reference material.

Great for Inquisitive Readers

This is a perfect gift for my pre-teen son who loves to learn facts and look up weird information. This book offers a wide spectrum of knowledge and insights along with colorful and often beautiful pictures. This is the kind of book that really does make a great coffee table book that will be read or a gift for people of any age who might be interested in exploring a variety of subjects about the world.
