*** Love Jo & Gill ***

It was wonderful to finally get Jo Ward's story. Jo is following in her fathers footsteps and is now the sheriff of River Bend. Even though it has been ten years since her father died she still can't believe he accidentally shot himself. He was around guns all his life and no one was more careful around them than he was. But who would murder him?

Jo thought it would be good if she went to Quantico for additional police training. It was there that she met Gill Clausen and there was an immediate connection. When things started happening at home she requested Gill's help. Along with his help things between them went from smoldering to full on fire.

I hope I have given you just enough to make you pick up this book. Another great love story from Catherine Bybee and deserving of all five stars.

Another great story in this wonderful series.

In this the third book in her “Most Likely” series Catherine Bybee gives us another wonderful heartfelt and heart tugging story about friendship and love that does not come from a blood line but from that which is a sisterhood of long-time friendship. I was privileged to get an advance copy of this book and once started could not put it down.

Jo Ward has taken the position she all but inherited from her father after his death, which she does not believe was accidental. As town Sherriff she has a responsibility to the town, but she also has a responsibility to herself to have a life outside of her job. And she does not realize that when she takes an expert law enforcement course at the training centre in Quantico Virginia and meets badass sexy FBI agent Gill Clausen just how important he would become to her training, her job and finding that fulfilling life she needs.

In their jobs as law enforcement officers they work great together, but can the strong attraction they feel for one another keep them together. Can Jo who has never had a real committed relationship let Gill into her life and that of her small circle of people who really care and love her? Can the wild girl of her youth find a fulfilling and happy life with a man who is perfect for her as the strong woman she has become?

All the books in this series tugs at the heart of the reader and you are cheering for a happy ending. Jo’s story pulls you in and you are cheering for her to not only find out the truth at what really happened to her father, but for her to fall in love and find the happiness she deserves. I am hoping we have not heard the last of River Bend….they are other stories to be told… When Catherine Bybee writes a book, don’t walk to buy it Run... you won’t be disappointed.

A wonderful story.

I loved how Ms. Bybee tells a story. I enjoyed Jo and Gil's story. It was steamy at times and suspenseful. I totally enjoyed Jo while she was at the FBI training. The part while they were on the defensive driving course was great. I really liked Jo's relationship with her track team. While Jo and Gil was building their relationship strange things started happening to Jo.Jo always thought her father was murdered and was trying to find out what happened to him. I had the person all picked out who I thought was doing it. Didn't see the turn the story took. I thought it was a well written story that I enjoyed very much.

I couldn't put it down!

Since being appointed Sherif of River Bend, fresh out of the Police Academy ten years prior, Jo has had few opportunities to take time for herself - and even less time to let her hair down, away from the prying eyes of the small town gossip mill.

She is taken by surprise by FBI agent Gill Clausen, partner of her friend Shauna, and the immediate attraction that buzzes between them. When they return to Oregon, it's not long before Gill makes the two hour trek from Eugene to see Jo, and soon the two of them are traveling back and forth on a regular basis.

As Gill and Jo become closer, things in River Bend start heating up. From the moment Jo's father's death was deemed accidental, her gut told her that something was off, and she has been dedicated to uncovering the truth, so when things start going awry in River Bend, Jo's instincts scream that they're related to her father's death.

Catherine's books are always full of heart and love, with a healthy dose of suspense thrown in to keep the reader on the edge of their seat. As the third book in the Most Likely To trilogy, former wild child turned uptight sherif finally meets her match in Gill, a man who has the bad boy look she's always been drawn to, but lives on the right side of the law.

The chemistry between Jo and Gill is off the charts from the first moment they lay eyes on each other, and his persistence, his determination to not allow Jo to wall herself off, makes him the perfect match for her.

Making It Right has the perfect blend of passion and mystery to keep the reader invested from beginning to end. This book was a stay up all night to finish in one sitting read for me, which I haven't done in a very long time - an absolute must read.

Addicted to this Series

I discovered this series by accident and couldn't be happier. While all her books don't necessarily need to be read in order, it's nice to have the continuity. I've recently started my mother on them and she's as addicted as I am! Even though I can't put my finger on exactly what makes them tick, I find the stories interesting, the characters strong and well-built. The added fact that wealth abounds is what fantasy is all about, right?
