Love the Catwings!

I have always loved these books! They are getting harder to find. So, I was stoked to get a brand new book for a reasonable price. I read the whole series to my eight year old & she loved them too. I only wish Ms. LeGuin had written more Catwings tales!
For the quality folks: It was new as described w no folds, tears, scuffs, or gashes.

This was a big hit and I loved reading it as an adult

I've been a catwings fan since I was in 2nd grade. I read all the books that were out at that time :)
I'm in my mid 20's now and have a child of my own. This was a big hit and I loved reading it as an adult. I bought all 4 books and I read them as soon as they came.

Totally wonderful

Ursula LeGuin can write some of the best adult Sci-fi, and still can put out these books I can read to my 3 year old. She is amazing. Anyone who loves her writing try to track down Always Coming Home… It is Ms. LeGuin's own favorite book she ever wrote.

Wonderful realistic fantasy for readers in grades 2-5 or so

We named the little black kitten we adopted Jane after the cat in this book. This series is one of my all-time favorites as a teacher of young children for 35 years, and one of my daughter's favorites as well. Wonderful realistic fantasy for readers in grades 2-5 or so, wonderfully illustrated. And for teachers and moms!

I Read Aloud to a primary classroom on Zoom. The kids enjoyed the first story so I bought the rest of the series. It did NOT disappoint.

Love Ursula anyway...

... but I had never read her kids' books. As expected, excellent. My 8-year-old son loves them, and I look forward to his reading Earthsea etc. Honor, creativity, fantasy, appropriate good vs. not so good.
