Adorable!

I read this book when I was little, and even today, I still love it! It's a wonderful, charming book, with the cutest illustrations. Although it's directed mostly toward little kids, I think that any cat lover would enjoy this story.

A Delight for Kids & Adults

This is the perfect book for cat-loving adults to read aloud to cat-loving kids--and then guiltily snatch for their own shelves. Four alley kittens are born with wings (much to their mother's astonishment) and use their unusual capabilities to seek out a more hospitable place to live. The kittens are distinct personalities and their plight and trek are movingly told. A future classic.

cute story

I loved this book as a kid and still think it's a great, cute little story. The four winged kittens in this book grow up in the city but fly off in order to find some place better. The illustrations are lovely, and cat lovers will enjoy the story.

Fun book to start kids reading nonpicture books with joy. I even enjoyed it as an adult.
