Ben Kane might be a woman

I bought this book to learn more about Hannibal. So far all I found that the main people of Carthage, are kind of wimpy. All of Ben Lane's book have one thing in common. All the main charecters are broken. And the worst part of this is they fret over it all through the book.I really don't believe a warrior in the roman times would obsess that much with his feelings on certain things.Anyway I love his chice of material[Ireally want to read Sparticus]bUT AM SCARED IT WILL TURN OUT TO BE ANOTHER SOAP OPERA.Ben stay with subject matter and battles,WE don't care about all the personal drama. At least I don't!
