I enjoyed Lindy and Wyatt, but Lindy very much made Wyatt pay for the sins of her ex. I did enjoy their banter, but the plot seemed somewhat of a cookie cutter book. I would’ve like a new twist on a tale as old as time.

Good Time Cowboy by Maisey Yates is quite an emotional read at times. Lindy is divorced and running the vineyard she got in the divorce settlement. Wyatt is a former bull rider who now runs Get Out of Dodge Ranch. Both are harboring feelings that they are not worthy to be loved. Well, you know that is not going to fly. You must read this book and read how they dance around each other.

Also included in the book is Hard Riding Cowboy by Maisey Yates. Lauren is a widow with two young daughters. Her marriage was very broken but still he was the girls father. She has relocated back home to Gold Valley and is determined to start over and bury the past. Getting coffee one day she runs into Wyatt Dodge. She used to babysit him in her younger days. She can see that he has really grown up and is very easy on the eyes. When he finds out she has to do some repairs to the house she wishes to purchase he offers his aid free of charge. It is quite interesting to see where this goes. I really loved both of these stories and hated for them to end.

I have to say I loved this story. Wyatt has been alone for most of his life.... even when he was surrounded by family... he didn't know how to love-- now it is time for his story to be told... and you will love him... maybe not as much as Lindy.. but you will love him. She is coming back from a heartbreaking divorce and the humiliation of having no clue her husband was cheating.
Wyatt and Lindy are like oil and water... except the sparks that fly when they are together cannot be denied. Follow their journey as they find that there are always second chances and sometimes they are much better than the first time around...
I hope you love this book as much as I do. Maisey writes wonderful stories and you will want to meet all the people in Wyatt's life. Enjoy

Yates does it again!

I am a HUGE Maisey Yates fan. I have read many of her books. Reading Good Time Cowboy did not disappoint. The great thing about the books in the Gold Valley Series is they can completely be read stand alone and you don’t feel lost. For people like me, who enjoy series, it’s nice to see a peak into the lives of the other characters we’ve met. I didn’t want to like Wyatt Dodge when I first started the book. I just thought he was a man all about himself. Yates created SUCH a man. The layers that were underneath Wyatt made him perfect for Lindy. I wanted Lindy to have her happy ending because her ex-husband really put her through the ringer. Wyatt proved to be that man. He stepped up even when she didn’t want his help. He showed her what a true man should be like. In turn, she showed him we’re not trapped because of a mistake made in our past. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for Gold Valley next.
