There should be a rule that all babies and toddlers be given this book and have it ready to them regularly. It is encouraging, supportive, loving, and emotional.

Like the Idea but fell short

Tims wife is writing this review. Bought this as it was recommended if you like the book "The Wonderful Things You will Be." That book was sweet, thoughtful and imaginative. This book had some good moments but as a mom of a strong, beautiful and smart little girl I was not impressed. Some of the things it discussed were so superficial rather than thoughtful and fun like the other book. I like the idea but truthfully I think there are better books out there to encourage our daughters.

For every little girl out there

What a wonderful book for my little girl. The book follows a little girl as she's told most of life's biggest lesson, ones that many adults never learned. The book is so warmly empowering and lets your little one know that it's okay to be who you are and that you don't only have to be one thing. That advice well given.

A lovely book for my little one.

Important message for children

The sweetest, simply read book for kids. Both my son and daughter love this book. A great telling to young kids to be who you are! The message in this book are one that I can stand behind. Highly recommend.

Page 4 and 5 is seriously wrong and will create complex

I really liked this idea but boy did this make me angry. Page 4 and 5 make red hair, feckless and birthmarks to be a “flaw”.
This definitely only makes it more “odd” in kids minds to have a birthmark, to be a beautiful red head or have gorgeous freckles.

Perfect Content but Imperfect Printing

This book is amazing. I bought it for my Daughter as I look forward to reading it to her. I’m a little disappointed that the quality wasn’t perfect. I’ll be keeping the book, because I don’t want to let it go. I just wanted you to know!

Delightful!

The perfect book for my little granddaughter age 7. This is an age when kids begin noticing their differences and even the positive can feel like a negative to the new girl in school just trying to fit in. She's small for her age and says kids are making fun of her. We can tell her she'll be glad some day, or she will grow, or we're all different, or just revel in the unwanted attention. However it's, nice to have reinforcement to these discussions in print telling her to just be herself and own it!

Cute book but some of the wording is too mature and over my daughters head

I like the idea of this book. But the way it’s written and presented isn’t really for kids, my 6 1/2 year old had a hard time following it, I found myself explaining what each page meant. My almost 4 year old, it just didn’t make any sense to her. My kids love books, but this one seems to be more for older ages.

Cutest Little Book Ever.

The cutest little book ever. My sister had gotten it for my first granddaughter when she was born. I recently got 4 of them to give to my daughter and her friends for their 8th grade graduation. I am planning on writing a little note inside.
