Interesting plot twist. Unlike any of Ms Gregory's other works

I have waited for four years for this book to be published. I am personally a little disappointed with the plot of the book. I am sure that most people will be thrilled until the end of the story. What Ms Gregory chose to be a mysterious plot twist is something I already knew about from reading European myths as a child. I am looking forward to the next book. I just hope it doesn't take as long to be published.

Confusion abounds

It’s a good installment in the Order of Darkness series. The characters chase down another sign of the end of days. I like that Gregory weaves true history or historical events into her novels. I didn’t really like how she tied it to more modern history at the end. I can see her wanting to pay tribute/remember, but it was just too out of place. I also don’t like the love “shift”. Come on, really?
