About the Author Haitham Ahmed, MD, MPH is a practicing cardiologist who is passionate about early childhood education and science. He did his medical school training at Dartmouth Medical School and graduate school training at Harvard University. He completed residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine, both at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He hopes to stimulate the love for science as early as possible in our next generation!

Such a cute way to introduce biology to babies and toddlers. My 18 month old seems intrigued and I love it. Durable and not super wordy. Honestly, it should say Cell Biology for Babies and Toddlers. Sorry for the blurry photos. I have a bad camera but it is as pictured online. Very happy I got this for my daughters book collection.:)

I thought the constant use of the same picture of the cell, but with different colors highlighting the organelle being discussed at that time, was a great way to illustrate the way the cell is organized. It took me back to Biology class!

Awesome beginners to science

It is a little too soon for me to say he understands or is remembering anything science based, since my son is only 9 months, but it is still fun bonding time while reading it.
Although he won't sit through a whole reading yet he loves the colors, pictures, and turning the pages back and forth. I also just enjoy reading this book to help him hear more words and sounds even if itll be years before he understands 😂.
