We want more

Book is great - I wish it would have one page about congenital heart disease it’s the number one birth defect in the world. I also wish he might have a separate book regarding CHD that speaks to all CHDs as kids need this more normalized. It would be a best seller for sure.

Fantastic

Despite the title being Cardiology for Babies, this book is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary school-aged readers. Sure, parents can definitely read this to their babies and get a head start on cardiology knowledge. However, it is the perfect book for school. It would fit perfectly in a lesson introducing science and the body. It would also be a great supplemental tool to use in lesson planning.

My favorite part of this book was how educational and interactive it was. The author made understanding the heart easy. Kids are sure to understand and find it interesting. The author also has kids breathe and then explains that this breath fills our blood with oxygen and helps the heart. It also tells readers to turn the book around to understand where the heart and its ventricles are in relation to your body.

The pages are also bright and colorful, not to mention the illustrations. Even the diagram of the heart was bright and, surprisingly, not overly detailed and confusing. The book is going to keep the attention of young readers. Parents and teachers don't have to worry about them getting distracted. In fact, kids may want to read it again!

Honestly, I do not have a single complaint. There was nothing I disliked about this book. I found no grammatical, spelling, or formatting errors.

Perfect! Great material for early learning, no sharp edges, perfect material & density for a child.

[[VIDEOID:be8a1487093fef6815c221859e020db]] I am so very ABSOLUTELY in love with it!🎁

I don’t have a child yet but I can’t wait to give the gift of reading to my children. I’m so honored to have this as the second book in my unborn’s baby’s first book collection. The first was “how to babysit a grandma” book. I can’t wait to add more of Dr. Haithman’s books to this collection.🎀

I will also be gifting these out to my friends for their babies for Christmas!

Perfect for a kid who needs heart surgery

My 2.75 yr old is about to undergo her second open heart surgery for CHD. The first she was too young for us to explain anything but this time it's something she'll need to understand and ease nerves. We used it to show her the doctor fixed one side of her heart when she was a baby and now the doctor is going to fix the other side. It doesn't talk about surgery so you won't need to dwell n that part with this book. This book helped her understand that there is this wonderful organ inside her body and this is what it does and looks like.

Simple, easy, but educational

I'm a healthcare provider who's predominantly worked in cardiac-focused settings the majority of my career, so I love the heart #nerd. I love this book, because it's written by a physician and is very factual yet easy to grasp. The illustrations are bright and clear, making it easy to take in visually for little ones. This is one of my son's favorite books and I love reading it to him.

AMAZING!

The book is great. As a doctor, I highly care about educating children about basic medicine and accurate information. I am in love with the simplicity of the book. The print is of high quality, and the illustrations are great and nice! Can't wait to see all branches of medicine made into small books for babies.

Got a simple card from the author which is a nice personalized touch. :D

Thanks!
