Brain Games - Sudoku (Chalkboard #1): Exercise Your Mind in Minutes (Volume 1)

I just wanted to add some photos ik personally how fustrating it is to try and buy sudoku books online without know what they look like first

I like to finish a book. I don't just do a puzzle here or there; I go through a book. This book doesn't show what level of puzzle each puzzle is. If a book is too easy, I do it backwards, with the mundane easy ones last. I like order. These are not in any order. Plus, I use the edges for notes and there is a yellow line around the puzzle that interferes with how I do my notations. I finished two other 'Brain Games' books, neither had the line and both listed the level of difficulty. I'll finish this one eventually, but I found myself finishing 3 other books before this one AND ordered two more, so this will probably sit for some time.

I love sudoku, this book makes you think. None of the puzzles are marked easy or hard etc. You never know what the next puzzle will be.

I love the size of this book, and spiral binding. I also like the random difficulty levels, rather than increasing front to back. Highly recommend.

Note: So far, only one has been what I would call easy or relaxing. As an older person with some cognitive decline, many are more difficult than I want to deal with. However, this is easily remedied by adding in a few numbers from the key. I do this at the beginning, then go from there. This way I get a relaxed experience with a bit of challenge. If I want the full challenge I leave as is.

First let me start by saying I have not done any of the puzzles yet so I can’t rate them yet.

However, I purposely bought a spiral book so the pages would be easier to turn and the puzzles on the back of the pages would be easier to access. Just got this out of the box and am so disappointed. The cover is falling off because the spirals are bent and the pages are slipping out. I shouldn’t have to “fix” something right out of the box but it’s too small of a purchase to return.

Hoping the puzzles in the inside will make up for the poor quality of the outside and will circle back if my opinion changes.

I have purchased several sudoku books for my husband. He is still working through this one but seems to enjoy it. The spiral binding is a big plus.

Been doing Sudoku puzzles for 12years and this book is difficult to start a puzzle when you don't know the level. I do all 4/5 levels depending how I'm feeling that day. Am 85 yrs old with a lot of health issues. Only good thing about this book is the cover & spiral binding.

Great book of puzzles - nice spiral binding makes it easy to access puzzles from start to finish. First few puzzles I've tried are a bit harder than expected, but that's ok - just a bit more of a challenge!
