Brain Games - Large Print Word Searches (Teal)

I never thought I would have such an appreciation for a product.
My Memaw is 92-years old. She's a feisty, vibrant, independent Italian who still drives her self.
When the quarantine started, it was hard for her to wrap her head around the severity of this Pandemic. She went out a few times (before there were cases in our county), and each time, I had to remind her not to. I thought my biggest fear would be her going out and contracting the virus, but actually, a different problem arose. We began to notice that without the mental stimulation of going out, she was backsliding a bit.
We did our best- I would visit her and bring my dogs over, I'd encourage family to call her, but it seemed like she needed more.
Enter this book. She loves it. She's engaged in it.
She completes different puzzles every day. She loves the large print and proudly shares how many she does in a day. It's a relief to us to hear this- this book is providing her the mental stimulation she needs. (Well, this and some lottery tickets)
I never thought such a low-priced, trivial item would be of such value, but I was wrong.
This book has helped our family more than we could imagine!

Not all the pages had large print puzzles. It became an exercise in eye strain for me. It may have not bothered others but it bothered me and took the fun out of it.

Dumb mailman folded this puzzle book and squished down in mailbox! Love the large print and categories. I especially love the trivia at the end where you take the leftover letters to answer a clue. Fun book!

Purchased several off these for a 90-year old family member sequestered in an assisted living facility during the Covid-19 experience. Having gone through numerous other word books, She was/is impressed with this design. The lettering is larger and the spiral binding made it easy to turn pages with arthritic hands. Great product!

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my mom. She loves doing word searches on the Sunday newspaper, so we thought getting her this in a larger print might be easier on her eyes. She uses it everyday she loves it! And she's able to see it clearly without having to squint so she is one happy customer!

I gave this as a gift to an older relative. The print is nice and large and she really liked it. It is made well with a heavier cover and has good weight to it's paper pages.

I buy these for my mom as she is chair bound. She loves working with his word searches.. A bonus to this one is it spiral-bound and makes it easier to keep open and work. The large print makes it easy for her to see

The Brain Games-Large Print Word Search book is excellent. My only suggestion would be to have the words and the word search puzzel all on one page. Having to turn the page to see the next word and then turn the page back to the search puzzel is time consuming and I'm always turning to make sure I know the word and letter sequence.

My 100 year old Aunt works these puzzles to keep her brain sharp…and that she is!!!

My grandma was very excited to see the large print of this book. Hope to purchase more for her!
