Brain Games - Sticker by Number: Animals (28 Images to Sticker)

I'm not proud to say it, but I am a "sticker by number" connoisseur. I had the highest hopes for this but the stickers are not perforated enough. I tried the first one and this is the result. You can see where I had to pull it apart. (And I'm like really good.) Don't spend your money.

Here's a few things I dislike about this book. 1.) Not all of the stickers are thoroughly cut through. They tear easily with trying to get them off the backing just because of the lack of cutting. You have to use a scissors. 2.) The pictures are not perforated, I can live with that. However, the sticker pages are not perforated and you can't remove them for easy use unless you just rip them out of the book. 3.) Multiple design stickers are printed on one page. There should be 1 page of stickers (or 2 if needed) for each picture, not stickers for multiple pictures on 1 page. I bought 2 of these books, each one different. We've already used some of one (and some pages just had to be thrown away due to the stickers not cut correctly) so I can't return it. But you can bank on it that the second one will be returned. Appearance alone, one would think this is a good book, well, it's not. Save your $$$ because it can't be returned!!! What a deal...

Wow! Great idea and wonderful for teaching my 6 yr old grandson letters and numbers, memorization (of the letter-number combination as he searches for each sticker to match the outline in the drawing); plus, hand-eye coordination is a part of this as he has to figure out how to pull each sticker out of it's place (carefully, with the larger-sized ones, so he does not rip/tear them) and place it properly where it belongs, as accurate as possible or it'll mess up the look of the finished pic. Fun animal pics with many different colors and shapes; also, teaches about a wide variety of shapes. Stickers stay on pic but can be removed to try better placement if needed. An adult who is patient and has the time would zip through these, probably, but for my 6 years old grandson, after he's placed 10 stickers gets bored with it and wants to do something different but I use it during his "time-outs" because it's such a great teaching tool. Nice pages, too, are not flimsy and the spiral binding makes the book easy to handle. Made of good quality materials. Thankful to have had found this book. Comes in perfect shrinkwrap to protect book; plus, good outer packaging (for delivery). Could frame and hang finished pic, maybe even add background colors to enhance finished pic. This was a clever idea. Love it! Will buy again or another similar to this one; would make for a perfect gift for recipients who enjoy sticker-art and or precision-hand/finger work. (Update: grandson got more into this and found it more exciting and fun the nearer he got to finishing a picture; now, it's the first thing he asks if he can do during his time-outs. He's already finished the *cat face and plans to add background color and giving it away as a gift. I will take a pic and share with you. We are *not experiencing any of the problems with this sticker book that other reviewers have shared and we love this Sticker by Number book).

The stickers don't remove easily from the backing, my daughter got very frustrated and had to cut some out. She hasn't finished the sticker book because of it. We have purchased other brands of paint by sticker books that are better quality. If they fixed the sticker issue this book would be great!

Cute pictures and lots of color. Some of the stickers missed getting cut all the way through which is a problem; had to try to cut them with an x-acto knife. There are lots of pages and the spiral binding helps. I prefer the harder ones, but the easy ones are okay. I would buy it again.

I was so disappointed, I purchased this for the preschoolers that I teach and how frustrating and embarrassing to find that 2 out of 3 pictures that we have done, the stickers wouldn't pull off, they weren't cut through. Some would start to pull but when they weren't cut through, they ripped. Many I cut out completely with scissors and then had a rough time separating the stickers from the back with no starting point. :(

I was looking forward to doing these until several attempts to take the stickers out failed. I tried four different pictures and the sticker pages weren't made well and tear too easily. I had 10 just on one page not even come out bc they weren't cut. Super annoying!
