Love the concept, not the functionality.

I enjoy the images and love the concept of giving kudos to bookshops. I’m unenthusiastic about the layout on the back. I use cards to contact people to urge them to vote, have written 1800 in a year and a bit, so feel the right to have strong preferences in these matters. The text about the bookstore and the little book graphic take up too much space and it would be way better if the copyright information comprised the center line instead of running down the writing space on the left side. Also, it would improve the layout if the center line were shifted a bit to the right, and the lines for the address moved lower on the card, leaving more room for stamps. The address requires less space than the message. Publisher, please consider these issues if you do another print run.

These are a bibliophiles dream!

These postcards are fantastic! They’re printed on high quality cardstock, so they’re very sturdy. And the illustrations are absolutely beautiful, like nothing you’ll ever find!
The solid cardboard collectors box features gold foil wording and can be displayed on a bookshelf, as it resembles an actual book. Clever!
It includes two identical sets of 50 cards, one to keep and one to share! I’ve been sending them to friends with some interesting fun facts based on each bookstore.
Although I don’t necessarily agree with the other review of having the center line shifted to the right and the bookstore text smaller. Maybe they’re just not right the right postcard for them and their intended use, but that shouldn’t take away from overall quality of the actual product. I find the extra space on the right is actually perfect for longer, international addresses! Besides, half the fun of postcards is that they’re all unique in they’re own special way!

Great cards, but misleading title

These cards are just gorgeous. There are two identical sets of 50, so 50 different bookstores. But only about 20% of them are from outside the USA. So, I find "World's Greatest Bookstores" rather misleading. But the cards are of excellent quality and I will happily use them!

Gorgeous illustrations

This 100-PC set has 50 each of 2 designs. The illustrations are gorgeous... my favorite set of illustrated PCs yet! The paper grade is also very high quality - thick and sturdy material.

Stunning illustrations, great for bibliophiles

This set of postcards is great for people who love watercolor art, books, and architecture. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there are only fifty illustrations (actually didn't read too closely before buying)—it works out because there are definitely a few in here that I would want to keep for myself. As the box says, "one to send, one to save." You don't have to second-guess which ones to mail or keep!

The cardstock is sturdy and has a matte finish so many types of ink should work on it. It comes in a beautiful box that will be great for storing mail or stationery ephemera once all the postcards are sent. Would have been cool if the box had a magnetic closure. I'm excited to use these cards for Postcrossing and to send to friends. As other reviews have said, it's a bit of a bummer to not have more writing space, but also the extended address space IS indeed good for some international addresses.

Overall, beautiful product and the postcards are great for both collecting and mailing.

A great gift for people who love bookstores and books

This box of 100 postcards is a fantastic gift for bibliophiles. The vibrant illustrations by cartoonist Bob Eckstein capture the character and charm of 50 independent bookstores from around the world and have given me a new bucket list item: visit all 50! One of my favorite things about this box is there are two sets of the fifty designs--one to send in the mail and one to keep.

Excellent postcards

I trade postcards and collect them as well. I paid $5 for this and could not beat the price. Excellent quality art postcards and liked by my friends. I ended up buying two. Some of the art is a little blurry which is the only downside, but overall a great deal and good postcards.
