Goodreads vs Amazon rating systems

I am somewhat stymied with the rating systems between Goodreads and Amazon. On Goodreads 2 stars is "OK" and 3 stars is I liked it. Here on Amazon 2 stars indicates "I don't like it" it is 3 stars just "OK". I wish these two groups would get together and come to some kind of consensus on their systems. If I read a book I acquired through Amazon it automatically allows me to post my rating at the end of book and according to the page with the rating on it it is posted to both Amazon and Goodreads. I have discovered that is not true. It does post to Goodreads but the ratings does not carry over to a rating at Amazon.

I acquired this book for reading from our Regional library through Hoopla and listened to it on my Samsung phone. Unfortunately that does not allow for rating at the end so here I am. Now I must go over to Goodreads and post a 3 stars "I liked it"
