Satisfied

Book came in great shape! It’s larger than I expected but that wasn’t an issue for me.

Incredible read.

Fabulous follow-up to the first book and it can be read as a standalone if you have to, but it makes SO much more sense if you read Good Girl, Bad Girl, first.

Cyrus and Evie are back and the story is told from both of their POV's. Evie is still trying to get by, in the best way she can, considering all the things that have happened to her. We find out more of her backstory in this book and it is horrifying and yet incredible what she has overcome.

Cyrus has his own issues but somehow he and Evie have clicked and he is in her corner all the way. I love how these two flawed people can help each other heal.

The author did an incredible job with this book and I loved every page. Is it confronting at times? Oh yes, but so well written, nevertheless.

5 stars from me.
