About the Author Emerson Robbins coached youth soccer for over thirty-five years. He was named Coach of the Year for Seattle in 2007, Coach of the Year in Washington State in 2008 , COY for the Western U.S. and runner-up for National Coach of the Year in 2009. This true story was inspired by the FC Shoreline International team that he coached from 2005 thru 2010. This is Emerson Robbins second book. Robbins retired in 2018 and lives on Whidbey Island in WA State with the love of his life, his wife Sherri.
