Amazing, As Expected!

As expected, Eric and the FlightBridgeEd team have released yet another amazing product. Eric took, an intimidating topic, ventilator management and made it so much easier for me to comprehend and wrap my mind around. He made the transition from ground EMS to the flight world a much easier one. While I still have such a long way to go, I owe Eric a great debt for helping me understand alot of difficult concepts. I would recommend this book, and any of the FlightBridgeEd books, to any provider who is considering entering the critical care world. This book is a must have for anyone who manages patients on ventilators.

Horrible writing style, hard boring read.

There is good information hidden in this book, but the writing is atrocious. It’s full of grammatical and spelling errors. The over wrought wordiness and passive voice make slogging through this book a chore. If I wasn’t supposed to read it for work I would have burned it. I cannot believe that this passes for a professional publication in EMS. If I turned in writing like this in any college class I would have received an F. I can’t believe they want $40 for this schlock. It’s like someone took an RT text book, copied and pasted parts, and added enough garbage so they weren’t sued.

Once again, FlightBridgeEd and Eric Bauer have hit a home run. What is notoriously a hard subject to grasp, Ventilator Management: A Pre-Hospital Perspective gets back to basics. I am currently studying to obtain my FP-C. Certification and I know this resources will help me master then vent.

Another home run from FlightBridgeED!

Just received my copy in the mail. The book is great, as I expected! I have 3 of Eric's books and they are all well written and easy to read/comprehend. This is no small feat considering the depth of the material he teaches. This book is perfect for any practicing clinicians and those wanting to get familiar with vent management. I would recommend this book to anyone, no matter if you are in the prehospital or clinical setting. Great job Eric!

A worthy purchase for furthering a deeper understanding in taking ...

A worthy purchase for furthering a deeper understanding in taking care of patients during critical care transport. It definitely is a conversational style of reading. With any subject matter in critical care, I am not ashamed to say it takes me several readings - or more - to get the most out the book.

Great book

Read the first edition, just received the second edition after taking a ventilator course with Eric. Easy read, written in simple terms and makes a complicated topic relatively easy. Strongly recommend the book, as well as the hands on workshop
