I purchased this book, built up my courage, and decided to attempt to rebuild my transmission completely on my own. With the help of the numerous pictures and detailed instructions, I had no problem doing my own transmission work. The author gives you a basic understanding of how a transmission works, details how to tear down the transmission, what to look for when inspecting the parts for ware, and how to put everything back together again. With this book, even a beginner can rebuild a transmission.

This is, by far, the best TH350 information book ever published. The author knows and understands how technicians and enthusiasts think and work, and has organized the book in a manner that makes it very easy to follow and understand. If you plan to do any service to your own TH350, I strongly recommend this book.

You'll want to cut up a 4'x8'x 3/4" plywood sheet mounted on two sawhorses for a layout table that is spacious and neat for trans assemblies. This trans table can be stored upright when not in use.

I purchased this book with plans of rebuilding a TH350 transmission. I read through the book and it is quite thorough. It was recommended to me by several other gentlemen who had undertaken rebuilding this tranny and had successfully accomplished the task (by using the book).

This is one of those types of things when you have more time than money and can't afford to put the transmission in a shop for it to be rebuilt. You are going to need a few specialized tools or access to them to get this done.

This book is worth the money, It is lacking a bit in the high performance section but overall a good purchase.

reading this manual while doing my TH350 rebuild made things super easy. I'm convinced just about anyone with mechanical skills could easily rebuild a th350 for the first time and do just fine with this book on their work bench.

This is an old publication with a fancy color cover. The pictures are black and white and not very good definition by today's standards. Good information for rebuilding but I think they should have taken the time to update the pictures.
