Poor printing, not worth the cost.

Returning this book. The photo illustrations are fuzzy and are near useless. A quick check of a few procedures found that they differ from Triumph's instructions. I have a 2015 Bonneville and hoped this would be a good resource. I plan to buy a Triumph factory workshop manual.

Make sure you get the correct book for the year of your bike

I purchased a 2016 triumph scrambler, no repair shop within 150 miles. The first book that I purchased was for a 2017 model, (liquid cooled heads) the wrong book for air cooled engines. This book, however is the correct book for 2016 model bikes, even though it states that it is for 2015 bikes and older.

Underwhelming, where did measurements go?

Nothing inaccurate here (at least that I've found), but WAY LESS detail than other manuals I've owned. Maybe a useful first bike guide, but if you've thought about doing most of the procedures here (or done them) before, this isn't bringing much to the table.

[note: this review is for the Triumph Bonneville, T100, Speedmaster, America, Thruxton & Scrambler (01-15) edition]

Good:
- A 2- page spread w/ torque specs
- A 2-page spread w/ service intervals (& one text box with oil grades)
- Lots of pictures and general description of standard maintenance tasks.

Not Great:
- Standard measurements are just not in this manual. How much oil do you need for a standard change? Dunno, but you should def do it! Here are some pics (note: it's 3.75-4qt)
- What about fork oil? Fork oil is great, you should change it every couple years. Not sure what weight or how much you should use, but there are pics of how to do it

I hate to say it, but you're probably better off just searching triumphrat forums or YouTube. And if you're worried about getting grease all over your tablet, just buy one for the shop/garage, the price is pretty similar to this manual.

Another bike, another Haynes manual.

I have now passed 30 Haynes manuals in my tech library. Each one used sme more then others. Manual got here before it was set to arrive by the date they gave. I still have my first one from 1974! Air cooled, water cooled, bikes and cars great to have!

Will save you money

If you have a Triumph covered by this manual you need this book period. Using this book I've bleed brakes, changed a front rotor, brake pads, and quite a few other things. There is so much service work you can do on a motorcycle with even minimal tools or space. If you at a minimum changed your brake pads you're gonna save a lot of money over shop costs. Highly recommended.

It's a Haynes....pretty steady through the years, and pretty good.

I have used Haynes manuals many times in my life to rebuild many things..... 68 Landcruiser, 72 Landcruiser, 78 Spider, 81 RX7 and now my Bonneville. Just a great resource book to remove the mystics around how engines work.

A must-have if you plan on doing any DIY work.

A must-have if you plan to do any work on your Triumph. Knowing the correct torque settings when putting things back together is worth the price alone.
