Characters and action take center stage in his hardcore science fiction that profits from Peterson's technical background.

Features & Highlights

  • While Russell and the other colonists of New California fight for the independence of their colony against General Morrow and his mercenaries, a new danger emerges. The transporters turn out to be horrendous weapons that pose a threat not only to the people of New California, but to the whole of the galaxy. A group of volunteers embarks on a series of dangerous missions with the transporter to try and face off the danger. But in the end, Russell wonders who the real enemy is: the secretive power behind the transporters or General Morrow himself?

The best "transport" yet!

Wow. It's even better than transport 2 which was even better than Transport 1 which was itself excellent. This is a cosmic mystery on the grandest and most catastrophic scale imaginable, told through the eyes of ordinary people trying to survive the most extraordinary of situations. I think there might be room here for a sequel. I sincerely hope that's in the works. But it might not be possible to do anything more spectacular that this trilogy. If you like hard-science-fiction you best not miss Transport.
