Phenomenal!

OMG.............the Trilogy!!!!!
Saw the movie on YouTube about 2 1/2yrs ago, apparently it was of the first book. I didn't realize that there was more to it!
Last week, I opened my Kindle, and there it was, suggesting a book for me to read.
I sampled it(Book #1)............Purchased it! (it's so, so similar to the movie)

Of course, what is there to say about Book.1 & 2, simply........Phenomenal!

Catherine Cookson is one of the best writers I have ever read. Everything she writes is Great I am proud to say I own just about everything she has written, You will not be disappointed if you like to read about people struggling to survive their circumstances overcoming outrages tragedies ,I love everything she writes.
MY Favorite Is FIFTEEN STREETS,The first book I read, some of her books are on DVD but they don't do the Book Justice but gives you a glimpse of it.

Brillant!

A fitting end to the wonderful Tilly Trotter Trilogy. So easy to read and easily enjoyable, I always find myself swept back to the time and era of these books. The series is highly addictive and Tilly is a wonderfully strong character. I love reading and watching how each one develops, but I did find myself somewhat saddened as to Tilly's childhood crush, who was once a friend now a bitter enemy.
Be warned though, you MUST read the books in order or you will miss parts in the story and they will not make sense.

This last book in the series takes you to times and places of great hardship and strife. Always interesting and with unexpected twists and turns. Her books are never same oh same oh.

Dramatic twist of events

This was a difficult ending to me. Lots of trials and loss for Tilly. Honestly would have liked a bit more story of what happened after everyone was settled but overall a great ending for the trilogy.
