Description

"It's not surprising that Emily Snow wrote another male character that I fell hard for. Cooper is every bit the heartthrob I knew he would be! But, the real gem is that I fell just as hard for Willow. I love her brokenness, her flaws, and her tenacity. She's a deep, layered character that I could read about over and over again and want to be best friends with. Her happy ending brought tears to my eyes." -- Kelli Maine, USA Today bestselling author of TAKEN"This book I promise you has a little bit of everything... hot romance, complex characters, secrets, laughs, fantastic friends, an amazing setting, and everything in between. Plus the ending had my heart so filled with emotion I thought it might burst!" -- Shortie Says Book Blog"I enjoyed every character and every word of this story and didn't want it to end. I was sucked in from the very beginning and couldn't put it down. So many life issues are addressed in this story and they are addressed with class. It was an easy and enjoyable read. I am a huge fan of Emily Snow and HIGHLY recommend you read Tidal !" -- Book Bitches Book Blog"I recommend this book to anyone looking to read about love and wanting something to touch a piece of your heart. It certainly touched mine and you won't be disappointed!" -- Shh Mom's Reading Book Blog"I don't know from where in Emily Snow's imagination this story came, but I hope there are more just like it in the future. Once upon a time Emily Snow told me a story..." -- Romantic Reading Escapes Book Blog Emily Snow is the New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of the erotic romance series Devoured, which includes Devoured , All Over You , and Consumed , as well as the new adult novel Tidal . I loved the ending

(3.75-4 STARS)
Willow is the latest it girl to fall from grace. Fresh out of a six month stint in rehab her parents already have her back to work. Even though Willow isn’t ready to work let alone be in a relationship but when she meets her surf coach, Cooper, she can’t help but be attracted to him and his flirtatious ways. While TIDAL deals with the addiction and Willow’s struggle to stay clean, it really is a cute little book. The way her and Cooper banter is hysterical. I loved the ending, thought it was so sweet and shows what unconditional love is all about.

A new twist to erotica

Definitely a well written story, and one you do not see very often. We all know that there is tons of gossip and stories when it comes to actors and actresses these days, but Emily Snow shows a little bit of a softer, more human side of the people who are always in the spotlight. No matter who we are or what obstacles we face, there is always a time where we have to figure out which fork in the road we need to take. Making sure to weigh the pros and cons always feels like we are drowning but one thing you can't ever forget, there are people in our lives that will do whatever they can to make sure we don't fall and will hold you up when you need it. Snow captured a persons inner turmoil, emotions and I am it was a home run to how close some celebrities feel.

I have to admit some of the twists were not excepted, but definitely kept my interest and I had to keep reading. Each character is strong, and since it seems like there is a lot going on you can feel their emotions as well as the chemistry flowing off the pages. I have to say I absolutely loved where this story went and though it was a romance novel it was also very inspirational. Meaning that though we all go through tough times in our lives we can always bounce back from them. This is one story that I know many would love to read.

Loved this!

I loved this book. It reminded me all over again of why I fell in love with New Adult books. Willow is 19 years old and just getting out of rehab, again. She has been acting for the biggest part of her life, and when she was 16 years old, something happened to her that changed her. It was easier to cope, to black out from it all, with alcohol and drugs after that. A whole lot easier than dealing with the pain. Her last stunt almost had her blacklisted in the Hollywood arena. Because of that, on her first day out of rehab, she finds herself at a meeting regarding a film, with the understanding that this might be in a "last chance before porn" type of situation, which she really didn't need to mess it up. It is here that she meets the oh so hot, cocky, sexy, smart ass, panty-dropping Cooper Taylor, attitude, accent, and all. Cooper is a surfing instructor in Hawaii, where Willow finds herself the next day. Cooper will be coaching her for the film, Tidal, which is a remake of the original. As bad as she doesn't want to be, Willow is extremely affected by Coopers voice, his touch, his everything. He makes it clear that his rule is that he doesn't have relationships with his clients, but as they soon find out, rules are made to be broken.

I loved Willow's character. She had been through so much, had messed up so badly, and she knows it, yet beats herself up so much over the things she has done. I loved watching her character develop over the course of this book, as she fights the addiction and begins to come to terms with it, with her life, and gradually opens herself up to love once again. She's a mess, but she she really wants to be fixed, and Cooper plays a big role in helping her get there. She doesn't have that "princess" attitude where she thinks she deserves everything. In fact, I found her to be quite humble. That doesn't mean she was always that way, but life's circumstances have brought her to this place. Cooper Taylor, now he is to die for. I loved him, smart mouth and all. He couldn't have been a better fit for Willow. First of all, he wasn't intimated by who she was in the slightest. He pushed her, challenged her, causing her to desire to do better. He protected her fiercely, and he also understood her. He was far from perfect to, and despite the sizzling chemistry between them, they had their issues to deal with, both having secrets, and both needing healing. The setting of the story was beautiful, and the story itself captured my attention from page one through the epilogue. Yes, there is a beautiful epilogue, which just made me feel so satisfied and complete after I read it. I love a good ending, and Emily Snow has provided just that in Tidal.

Overall, Tidal is a great romance with an interesting and captivating story line that is entertaining, heartwarming, and heartbreaking at times. I enjoyed Willow and Cooper's journey as they progressed through the story and dealt with everything that life and Hollywood had to throw at them. Was it easy for them? No, not by any means. Was it was worth it all? Yes, and it is beautiful. I definitely recommend Tidal to all New Adult Contemporary Romance fans.
