Volume 3

The boys and Midori take on a summer job during the summer holiday. Chihiro and Midori are growing closer and building on their friendship. Meanwhile, Rei is slowly realizing his own feelings for Midori are changing....

I always like reading about the festivals in shojo. They normally show a turning point in a close friendship or something more. Chihiro finds out Midori has a crush on Rei, so he takes a step back and doesn't confess his own feelings. Yuki is in the background and wants Midori to be with Chihiro for his own selfish and weird reasons. I think we might see more of that background scheming in volume 4.
