The characters are eerie and all too real." -- Top2040 Books "...evokes the small-town charms and coming of age tropes which are the hallmarks of Stephen King ... with haunting scenes throughout." -- Horror Buzz " ... believable characters, a fast-paced plot that is unpredictable and enthralling, and a setting that has a personality of its own." -- Michael Thal, Author and Critic "The author does an exceptional job of providing just the right measure of suspense ... The Whisper Killer is an exceptional reading odyssey." -- Horror News Net Top Reader reviews:★★★★★ This is the first book I have read by this author, I have already loaded in the next. Highly recommend.★★★★★ This book is listed as a horror story, but . . . in so many ways it is an inspirational and heart-rending story. I loved it. (Goodreads)

Un-put-downable

This book is listed as a horror story, but I don’t see it as such, because in so many ways it is an inspirational and heart-rending story.

Ben, whom the FBI have dubbed The Whisper Killer is a lovable, compassionate, caring character and I couldn’t see him as a serial killer, even when I read about the cold-blooded murders he had committed. The fact that Jack, the demon who was trapped inside him, was behind the killings mitigated Ben’s physical participation somewhat.

Jack is even more complex than Ben, and one cannot totally condemn a vigilante who does bad things for the greater good, especially when he’s likeable.

The town they stumble upon and end up living in is unique, and holds its own powers—the power to keep you there if it needs you for something.

I think what kept me unable to put it down was the unpredictability, which went on to the last page. I loved it.

First Time wanting a Serial Killer to Win

One of the best stories I have ever read about a Serial killer and the town he settles in. Great story kept my attention all the way through to the end.

Addictive

Occasionally I read a book that makes me want to read everything the author has written. Lewis and Tolkein, F. Paul Wilson, Koontz and King come to mind. This was one of those.

Good book

I like to keep my review simple. I liked the book, the characters, the story, everything. Can't think of anything i didn't like. I wouldn't call it urban fantasy but it had hints of it.

great characters and interesting story-

If “Dexter” were a spirit that could possess then you have the Whisper Killer. I am not sure how I found the book/author but feel, fortunate; I just downloaded book 2…

Read it in one sitting

Supernatural thrillers are my guilty pleasure but it’s getting harder to find one that’s well-written. If the writing doesn’t flow, has exclamation points or the prose/dialogue is juvenile, I return the book. This author knows how to write. I’ll read another by him.
