Victory Girls?

I find it odd she would call the women in her wartime story "victory girls" as they were young women who offered sex to the men in uniform. also known as khaki-wacky, they weren't someone a family member would be proud or boast about. as they were considered unpaid prostitutes. at least in the states. but from what my uncle told me about victory girls in England it was about the same. other than that, I thought the book was fun to read and I enjoyed the characters quite a bit.

The fifth book is awesome

I’m trying to slow down with only 2 more books to go…I didn’t. I binge read this and the last book.

I enjoyed the continuing story

This book has the same characters as the first book in the series but but it finishes all the stories to a satisfactory concert. Read this first book before this one.

Like living WW II with real family.

These characters are so real I feel I know them. I've lived their ups and downs in wartime. I even went on YouTube to see the royals on the balcony on the VE Day celebration so I could put myself in Lily's shoes. These marvelous books have been like a multi-season drama on Masterpiece, but better.
