The Three Weissmanns of Westport: A Novel

Betty's husband has moved on to greener pastures after manyyyyy years of marriage. She has declared herself to be a widow, and, forced to leave her luxurious NY City apt., she moves into a cottage that belongs to a cousin in Westport. Her 2 adult daughters join her , both having upheaval in their own lives.

This is not quick, light, beach read. Part kinda literature comedic drama?My favorite part of the whole thing was the development of the characters.... (cousin Lou shines)

So....sure. Go ahead and give it a whirl. I honestly can not say it is a must read tho....and it makes me sad to say so.

This was a very predictable and disappointing book. The author was heavily influenced by Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility.
