The Story of Country

Love this series of books! What a great idea just wish i thought of it!!lol but seriously, our family loves music and it is passed to us by our Dad. I was youngest of his 9 children and he made sure each one of us had our own record player, speakers, for me boom box, and all the music we were interested in. He even made washing dinner dishes fun by turning on the cabinet, before its time, radio. So just recently we lost him at his young age of 93 and my niece, his granddaughter is having her 1st child. I was looking for baby things to buy to add to my gift and maybe something that represented my Dad. I came across this new series of baby books read everyone and laughed and cried and knew my Dad had stared me to these books. They are age appropriate and pages are strong, not paper. It simplifies the history of singers, but introduces babies to some great names. I felt my Dad's approval when purchasing all four books and letting my brother know that he will be able to bond w/his 1st grandchild when sitting and reading her these books. Then later have many conversations about music young and old, but to remember never forget the great ones that blazed a path for the rest! I just know my Dad will be watching over story time at my brother's house. Its a must buy for every baby!

Love the book and story, we have all the music books, but they don't seem to handle a toddler's hands for long. Our book was quickly damaged and once the pages are stuck, they are ruined :(

I bought the Country, Pop and Rock books for a cute gift to a toddler. The pictures are bright and cute.

This book is absolutely amazing. Though I wish they had Reba in there.

We love this book! We have this one, the Rock version, and the Rap book. They are all great. Short and to the point. They hold our baby's attention and entertain us at the same time! A win for bedtime reading. These books could also be great gifts for anyone who loves music.

This book is adorable! However, my only hiccup with it is there are a couple country music icons that were left out, such as Miranda Lambert and Faith Hill. Other than that, it's perfect!

This book came warped and clearly had been wet.

Such a great book to introduce your favorite child to the legends of country. The illustrations are very cute.
