Dangerous information.

I picked this book up at work because it looked interesting. I'm only 56 pages in and have several issues with this book.
First, the book specified giving "Tap" water to kids starting at age 6. Anyone that knows what is in TAP water, knows how bad this is. Tap water is full of Flouride, hormones, pharmaceuticals and that's before you get started on the cleaning agents such as chlorine. All very bad for anyone, let alone a 6 month old.
Second, Canola oil is listed as a healthy oil. Canola oil is anything but healthy. It's genetically modified, highly processed and refined which causes inflammation, as well as all the issues that come with GMO's.
Third, a study is quoted as saying " A low intake of whole grains was the single dietary factor associated with most deaths in the U.S. and Western Europe." Where to even begin on this one. The study is not sited so I have no idea where this info came from. But I can assure you that with the American diet as it is, low intake of whole grains is not the problem. I'm interested to see what other Ludacris "science" will be served up. I guess you could say I would absolutely NOT recommend this book.

Best nutrition book I’ve read

I’ve bought another nutrition book off Amazon and hated it but this one right here is amazing. I’m learning so much and can’t stop reading. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. It’s not bs either it’s using real science.

Really great information

Loved that she simplified the science behind nutrition. It’s such great information and addresses the questions I’ve been asking for a long time. All the information is backed by research and not what’s “in” right now. Great reference book!
