Powerful but Simple Message

I just picked up this book from the library and it has blown me away so far. I will certainly be purchasing my own copy to keep.

I am 26 and have been struggling with major depression for 10 years. Along the way I have been wavering on what to do with my life. Although academics has always been easy for me, I felt trapped inside a classroom. I wanted to do something meaningful.

I've always wanted to travel the world and volunteer to help the less fortunate. I was afraid of how my family would react so I didn't pursue this dream. That is until I started reading this book.

One afternoon this week I read Part 1 of the book and did one of the exercises. Listen to your heart. I did. That evening I was empowered by heart's desires and I had a lengthy conversation with my mother.

She agreed with what I wanted do. I got over my anxiety and followed my heart. I will be starting my new journey this May. And I couldn't be happier!
