The Nanny Connie Way: Secrets to Mastering the First Four Months of Parenthood

Most of us are NOT wealthy celebrities so unless you are independently wealthy or a celebrity don’t buy this book. She has some good tips here and there on products but outside of that this information is useless to me. We are soon to be adoptive parents and I will be a stay at home with no outside help so this book was not helpful at all.

Woefully inaccurate. Not evidence-based, not factual, and unsafe advice. Of course that advice is followed by, "be sure to check with your pediatrician!"

So much nope in this book.

As a RN labor and delivery/newborn nursery nurse and mother I HIGHLY encourage all new mamas and seasoned to read this book.

In a world full of fear-based advice for new mothers and totally unnecessary baby products everywhere you look, this book stands out as a breath of fresh air. I would say that overall this is a nice place to start for new parents looking to better navigate the first few months of parenting which I've heard can be quite hectic and scary at times. It doesn't get too deep into any one topic but instead offers the reader a variety of different tips applicable to the real life situations to be endured by new parents everywhere. Also I loved Nanny Connie's sass and warm motherly way that came through in her writing.

This book has been preparing me so much. She really keeps it real and doesn't leave anything at all out. I'm so happy I found this book!

This book is a great resource for parents. It would make a great shower gift. Nanny Connie has a great sense of humor which makes for a fun and enjoyable read. Her compassion for not only babies, but mom's too is evident on every page and makes you feel as though she really is talking to you.

This book is an easy read and a great source of information for new parents. She gives her personal experiences about caring for new borns as well as self care. This book will help ease your anxiety all while building self confidence as new parents. Even if you can not afford a personal nanny her suggestions and tips are practical, simple, and have validity. Her time and experience in helping raise healthy and happy babies are evident as she is HIGHLY recommended and in demand. This can’t be because she is a nanny to celebrities but clearly because of her professionalism, holistic nurturing approaches, and respect to parents who are simply trying to figure out how to best care for their new little one. Kudos to Connie for “keeping it real” and reminding us to “just be the parent” XoXo
