Features & Highlights

  • Rina Lazarus and her husband, LAPD Homicide Lt. Peter Decker, are shocked by an outrage that cuts close to the spiritual heart of their family. Rina's small storefront synagogue has been desecrated with anti-Semitic graffiti and grisly Nazi death camp photographs. The alleged perpetrator is seventeen year-old Ernesto Golding, a "rich kid" obsessed with haunting suspicions about the origins of his Polish paternal grandfather. Then Ernesto is found brutally murdered, along with his therapist, Dr. Mervin Baldwin, at an exclusive nature camp that caters to moneyed, troubled children. For Decker and his wife, unraveling the truth behind Ernesto's violent death becomes more terrifying with each sinister twist. For lethal secrets with roots in the horrors of a past generation are coming to the surface, propelling Peter and Rina into a ghastly world of ruthless parents and damaged youth—and toward a dark evil and its ultimate retribution.

It's a book! What could be bad?!

I just love books. Not only are they good for reading, but sometimes they can straighten out an uneven table. Also you can use them in a stack on top of wrinkled papers to straighten them out. Sometimes they just look good on shelves, and can impress your friends. I remember when my kid brother used to sit on top of them in order to reach the dinner table. Ah the good old days...

The Forgotten by Faye Kellerman

Aklan J. Groveman,,,I have read most of Faye Kellerman's Books. The main character is Lt. of Detectives and jewish convert Peter Decker and his wife, orthodox jewish housewife Rina Lazarus and their newly joined family. They are all good stories and I enjoyed them all. "The Forgotten's premise is about how Decker and Lazarus's Jewish Temple is totally vandalized and what is done to catch the horrible people that did it. a good read!
