The Fire Cat (Turtleback Binding Edition)

One of my treasured and favorite books as a child. I always regretted losing touch with this book. Then all of a sudden I see it for sale on Amazon.... What the? How awesome and unexpected for a book that is over (40+) years old. These beautifully illustrated older books are simple and always tell a needed life lesson. They are characters you never forget. And they are not completely morphed super crazy cartoon characters. The cat looks like a cat. And the firemen look like men. Crazy huh? This was a newer reprinted edition. Can't wait to share this story with the Grandkids!

I remember reading this book when I was a child. I decided I had to have it to read to my grandchildren. Great little story that they can read by themselves later on.

Childhood favorite I enjoy giving and reading to the kids in my life

This is a great little story that I grew up reading and loving. It is entertaining for adults as well as children because it is not predictable how it will turn out. I was glad to find it new on Amazon since I wanted it again after I saw my mom give her old one away at Christmas. The illustrations are great and the story dear. I know I will read it to my grandkids one day and wanted to have a copy. This version looks to be nice quality for a good price, though it has not yet stood the test of time. Highly recommend!

This is my daughters favorite childhood book. She checked it out so many times from her elementary school library that they always set it aside for her. Just bought it for her high school graduation.

I purchased this for a baby shower gift. It was one of my favorites as a child, now as a firefighter myself, it is still a great book.

This was one of my favorite books growing up and now I get the opportunity to read it to my toddler son. He loves it!
