The hunt is on

The Final Hunt is the story of a woman that discovers her recently deceased husband was a notorious serial killer, now known as the Teacher Killer'.

Cameron’s husband John is believed to have been killed in a bear attack while on a hunting trip. Several months after his reported death, she goes through John's things and finds photos linking him to a crime. She gives the photos to the police for their investigation of the serial murders to prove John was to blame. Shortly after the police show up and go through the house looking for more evidence.

But as time goes by, Cameron begins to suspect John may not really be dead. Now the investigators believe John had an accomplice are looking at her. Cameron begins to look at more of John's belongings and starts to find clues to where John may have disappeared. When her own life starts to fall apart after the news gets out, she decides to go and find John.

This is a wonderful thrilling afternoon read. This is my fourth book by Audrey J. Cole. I have enjoyed each and every one. I really like how she tells a story. The beginning draws you in and holds you until the final pages. Audrey J. Cole is one of my newest favorite authors.

I received an ARC from Book Funnel for an unbiased review.

WHAT IF.......

What if you find evidence that your dead husband was a serial killer? What if you find signs that he may have faked his death? What if that monster you loved has placed clues that you were his partner in crime? Cameron Prescott will do what she can to find John, make sure he pays for his crimes, and, most importantly, clear her name. Audrey Cole has weaved together a carefully plotted storyline and characters that bring this scenario to life. It is a suspense filled thriller with twists and turns that easily draw in the reader from the opening chapter to the last. A very good read.

No one would believe her but she knew he was alive

A gripping story that will keep your attention throughout! The author drew me into the life Cameron was living. The shock, horror and unbelievable secrets she would never have suspected of her husband. But Cameron had her own secrets. Full of suspense, intrigue and determination, this book is one you won’t want to put down.

Great read!!!!

Starting out I thought I was not going to really care much for this book, but boy was I WRONG! It was a fantastic read. I literally could not put it down. I LOVED the main characters persistence. She was pretty (excuse my language) kick ass. She definitely is a woman to be feared, no man will cross her and live. Although, I must say I knew who The Teacher Killers partner in the crimes were the whole book. It was very predictable. The ending though you won't see coming and I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!

Good Story But Doesn't Seem Final

The book had a good storyline, but the ending doesn't seem final enough for me. It didn't take me long to figure out there was more to the story. No spoiler alerts but it was as I suspected. Good read.

Serial killers and Alaska...

So when a book drops a huge reveal in the first chapter, you'd think there couldn't possibly be that much more story to tell, right? I though this book was going to be mostly flashbacks and Cameron coping with what she found out out about her husband. I was wrong... This story just kept getting better and more twisty as it went along. I had a hunch about the ending, but then thought it couldn't possibly be that. I really liked this book. I will definitely be looking for more of Audrey Cole's books to read. I mean, she had me at serial killer and Alaska!
