A nice wrap-up but...

Ms. Young's final volume of her Templar Trilogy is a nice wrap-up to the series and I enjoyed reading it very much. In the last half of the book I felt as though we were being rushed through many events and the way that Will Campbell is moving around in the world you get the impression that he has his own speedboat or business jet rather than the weeks and months it took to move from Scotland to France to Italy, etc. All in all I think it is a good read, an interesting tale, and a nice wrap-up to the series. If you liked the first two volumes you will like this one too.

Dissapointing

After the first 2 books which were quite amazing in rithm and narration, the conclusion of the trilogy lacks in nerve and speed, showing a faltering world.

The Fall of the Templars

The Fall of the Templars is the third in a trilogy written by Robyn Young. This book, as well as the two previous in the series, was well written, beautifully detailed and historically correct and held my attention throughout the read. I am a fan of historic fiction, especially medieval times, and these books fit the bill in every way. I found them very informative in their detail of the life of a knight of the Templar Order. Through the eyes of the principle chararcter Will Campbell,I was able to see and feel the times and struggles of the efforts to regain the Holy Land. This final book tells of the demise of the order and details what may have caused the final chapter of a very important group of dedicated men to be written.Anyone fascinated with these times and places will enjoy these books.

History is great

I've read the series and it was fun to learn how history repeats itself. Can it be the war just never ended?? I thought it was great.

Good Read

This was a good book to read, moved along well and wrapped up the trilogy. I have enjoyed all 3 books in the series and the fact based fiction style brought the fall of the Templars to life.

great finish to the series

The Fall of the Templars kept me interested throughout. I felt sorry for Will because you always knew he was going to suffer some how. I was impressed with the finish of the book. So many books can't seem to tie up loose ends. Robyn Young did a nice job. It was definitely a great read!!!

great series

What a great end to a great series. I really enjoyed this book. Robyn Young is a very good writer and her three books in this series have lots of action and a lively pace. I enjoyed all the details about how life must have been back in the Templar period. Its sad to think that all these years later we're still controlled by church and state. Even sadder to think that we're still over in the Mid east killing Muslims. We really havent come that far have we? Anyway I highly recommend starting with the first book and following the life of Will and the other characters all the way thru. Engrossing!
