The author is a dietician and has T1 diabetes herself

I’ve always had a bit of trouble understanding what I should and shouldn’t eat and why. This author who not only has T1 diabetes is also a dietitian! She taught me how what you eat and the order you eat is more important than the carb count! I was told previously…. Don’t ever eat more than 30g of carbs in a sitting, don’t eat fruit, or potatoes, or rice. I now know why that isn’t necessarily correct or as important. Fat (plant based), fiber, and protein…. Is what you need to know and learn. I can’t begin to tell you how exceptionally helpful this book has been in helping me understand!!! I found the author on TikTok and can’t begin to tell you how much better my life has been ever since! I am insulin resistant and my sister has T2, although I think she might actually have T1.5 (I now know the difference). We are both down 20+ lbs and in normal A1C range! My sister always got super overwhelmed and confused trying to figure out what to eat. This author has made all the difference in the world! I can probably easily say she not only made our lives better, happier, and healthier but she undoubtedly made them longer! THANK YOU!!!!!
