I will be requiring my leaders and I'm all ready strongly encouraging my congregation to read The Divine Mentor. Wayne gets it! Many think they get it, but Wayne really does and if you read this book and put it into practice you will get it too. Really, I've got an MDIV - I've read many, many books - some bad, some good, some great, but I think this book has the potential to be the best I've ever read. Why? Because it takes you into THE BOOK - the Bible. Since I've read this book, I have diligently followed Wayne's Bible reading plan - SOAPing it up every day! And, after being senior pastor for 11 years, in past 4 months I feel closer to The Lord than I ever have. I sense the leading of the Holy Spirit more than ever before. Fruit is being born in our church in a way that is totally amazing. And most important, the downward curve of Christians who have Bibles, but rarely read them is being redirected upward in our church. I praise God for Wayne and this work. I recommend it to anyone - not just as a read - not just as information or inspiration, but as incarnation of Jesus in your life - as a lifestyle!

divine mentor

Love the book, has put me back on track in my bible reading where I look forward to my reading time and am seeing things I've read before but not seen before. I am in books I may not have spent as much time in , you sometimes gravitate towards books you are undestanding of,so this stretches you! I also am not a big journaler and I am faithful with my soaping!--highly recommend!
