Overall a good reference with some small detractors

Good defence book for the most part. Missing some newer info but nobody is perfect. I think her injecting her opinion on some things detracts from the scientific nature of the book and will probably turn off some pet chicken keepers like myself. ( not everybody is willing to kill their pets just because they caught a respiratory disease etc)

Well worth the money. Loads of great information on owning and caring for not just chickens! Ducks, turkeys pheasants and even peafowl can be applied. Love that it includes dosage for different medications and symptoms for various issues.

This is the best chicken book I've ever read....and I think I've read them all. It's not just about health, but care & interesting trivia. Text is not too basic for experts but is easily understandable for beginners.
