#10 would read something like, Not reading the "The Book of Mistakes

This book was an exciting "can't put down" type. It is such a pleasure to get entrenched in the plot but get life's insights as you move through each chapter. I felt the Book of Mistakes was captivating, thought provoking and can be your "go to" to start looking deeper at life's wisdoms I will share this with my son and others in order for them to be insightful challenged. The only thing I would add is that it needs to have a # 10 lesson. From my perspective, #10 would read something like, Not reading the "The Book of Mistakes, 9 Secrets to Creating A Successful Future" is a proportionately larger mistake for us all. Wonderfully written.

Easy to read....difficult to put down...excellent quotes.

This book is amazing...Skip Prichard shares excellent quotes and examples of the Mistakes I have made over and over again. He presents his “lessons” in a manner that keeps your interest. I could not put the book down after the first page. As you read the story...suddenly the message hits you ... and the lights go on... and it’s “oh my” .. I’ve been doing that. Then you are so interested in learning the next “mistake”... you just keep reading. A great gift for anyone. A true plus for every library. Truly loved this book.

Skip’s content and style of writing reminded me of many of Og Mandino’s best books (a high compliment indeed!). If you are looking for an engaging read and a profound explanation of the principles to living a successful life, this is the book for you!

Skip Prichard's "The Book of Mistakes" is quite simply brilliant, and is a new 'must-read' for anyone who wants to live a full and valuable life! Interested readers might be tempted to opt for the online edition, but I would suggest getting the hardback copy because you'll want to keep it close to hand since it is not only a great work of fiction and non-fiction, but it is also a great resource!

"The Book of Mistakes" is no boring tome of how to live one's life. Instead, it is a book of how to live told in two overlapping short stories, one set in colonial America and one in present day. It is truly a page turner! Moreover, one can read it in one or two sittings.

Readers will be tempted to read ahead for the list of Mistakes, but I caution against that. The narrative follows carefully from one Mistake, and Law, to the next.

"The Book of Mistakes" would certainly make for a wonderful gift (graduations are coming up!).

Highly recommended!

This book was not at all what I expected when I first received it, but has turned into one of my favorite books. It is laced with gems of wisdom and guidance that anyone can put to use in their life. It is definitely a book that has so much packed into it, it will take multiple readings to get it all, if it all can be grasped. Highly recommend this book!

Memorable Stories with Powerful Life Lessons

I read the book and purchased four additional copies as gifts for college graduations and for a friend who is exploring a new career. I don't generally read business books but this is different. It's part parable with equal parts of instruction and inspiration written in a story format. There is an element of suspense too - like a novel you don't want to put down. The lessons are practical and applicable to people in every stage of life. I love the format of a wise sage who has made a mistake and explains the life lesson to David. My daughter plays college sports. I shared the three laws of desire, gratitude and belief with her as preparation for a big game. She shared them with her team! This is an easy book to recommend and share.

The best way to learn is from your mistakes

As an entrepreneur who has definitely made her share of mistakes, I was first drawn to the title. As you get into the book, there are so many snippets of helpful information. If you are an entrepreneur, you will find yourself saying "ah-haha" a lot. Seriously though, Skip's book is so well written and motivating. The best way to learn is from your mistakes.
