An MC romance I can get behind
This was my first book by this author and I truly enjoyed it. The storyline was interesting and intense, and completely captured my attention. The characters felt natural, interactions felt real, and emotions valid.
Things I didn’t like: I started off not liking Abbie, as she seemed so immature and wishy-washy. She was also pretty hypocritical. But I got over that. Another thing was that occasionally, the writing felt... choppy. But all in all, it was a good book and I’m not opposed to reading another story by this author.

Drew me in in the beginning...
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
This is my first Chantal Fernando book and I honestly don’t know if I will read any of her other work after finishing this one. The beginning of the book was super sweet and drew me in, and then shortly lost me. I lost my connection with the main character, and since this was a single POV book, I couldn’t even attempt at making a connection with Temper, which is the name of the book. Once I realized it was single POV, I felt like I was missing half of the story. I am not a huge fan of single point of views as is, so this just fell flat for me.
I have loved plenty of MC books in the past, but this one just didn’t hit the mark for me at all. I know it’s the third book in the series, but I highly doubt I will be going back to read the first two in the series. I just didn’t connect with the book, the characters, the storyline or any of it. I felt like it was rushed and there were parts that just didn’t make any sense to me.
I did finish because I don’t like not finishing books, but I won’t be going in and finding any more of this author’s work.
Three stars.

I Loved it
This was book 3 in the "Knights of Fury" . This was a really good book Abbie works at her families bar in a small town in Nevada Temper has being going to the bar for years he ask her out but she always turns him down this year when he ask her she says yes. This was a really good read they had a good date until Temper gets a call from one of the knights and takes her with him when they are attacked and Renny kills one of the attackers and Temper kidnaps her. The Knights have a lot going on someone is coming after them again. Abbie makes the best of her time in California by going site seeing she is also dealing with her mother who is overprotective of her 28 year old daughter. When they learn that a drug kingpin is asking about the MC Abbie finds out that the man is her father and they also learn that Georgia who is Skylar's mother is the one behind the attacks. When kidnap Dee the knights go to get him only to have Temper taken and Abbie isn't having it and they go to get him with Abbie shooting her the real shock is that Georgia's husband Neville is the kingpin Grayson who is Abbie's father is the same person. This was a good read Abbie is good for Temper and he for her when she goes home she faces her mother and decides that she is ready to leave the nest. This book was well written and the narration was good this book had no errors in grammar or spelling.

Filled with twist and turns
I really enjoyed Temper and Abbie's story, I was pulled in from the first page and could not wait to find out what was going to happen next. There were a lot of twist and turns in the plot. And I felt like every stub plot was followed through on which was one thing I found lacking the Saint & Skye's story. I really liked Abbie's character she is strong, and independent. I found myself laughing out loud during a few parts in the book. My only complaint was I felt that the main couple at a lot of chemistry outside of the bedroom, I felt they seemed to be lacking the chemistry that a lot of Chantal Fernando's other characters had in the Wind Dragon's MC series. But over all I found the story entertaining and I do recommend reading Temper.

Good Story and Characters
This was a pretty good book. The story was well paced. I liked both Abbie and Temper. It’s been a long time since I read a single POV book and I think that made me like it a bit more. I’ve read several this author’s books and I’ve liked them all. I look forward to reading more from this author. I recommend.

A dare with fate...
I received this book via NetGalley and have agreed to leave an honest opinion..
Every year Temper stops at the bar Abby runs, on hi way elsewhere. He sits, has a drink and chats with Abby and asks her out...and she nicely refuses him. Abby's mom owns the bar but Abby runs it as her mom has not been well. She has a sister a few years younger who she is very close to and remains a good role modet.
Abby had to sacrifice though. She was in college but had to quit to help run the bar. This year may be different as she has refused the date with Temper for like the last 5 years. She's tired...tired out running the bar with no help from her family, no social life and no real friends besides those that work at the bar.
When Temper comes through town again he stops in as usual except this time she accepts his dinner date!
Need I say this will change her life?? Even though they really enjoy their date it doesn't end as expected and Abby must now go back home with Temper so he can keep her safe.
Can he keep her safe while the violence is around them?
I have read almost all of this author's MC titles and have enjoyed them all. I always look forward to another book from Ms. Fernandez!

had potential
This is book 3 in the series but it can be read as a standalone. This story follows Abby, a bar owner as s you can call her, she took the place after her mother. One year some bikers came by and she caught the interest of one of them, name Temper. They were meeting once poor twice a year, only at the bar and he was asking her out.
Year's passed and they were playing the same game. He was asking her out, she would refuse, but one year she decided to do it. She went on a date with Temper, MC president.
And here the story starts. When something went wrong Abby will have to decide what she will do? Will she follow her heart or her head?
I liked that this story was not oversexed as it seems like some trend. It was a good one on that level. Abby, I liked her, but nothing more. Temper - I had so many ideas about how it would show why he got this name, but I had got nothing that would make me gasp in that area.
The story overall was good but I would love to feel more emotions while reading. Or at the latest stronger ones.

Creative Deeds Reads Review
Not exactly enemies to lovers, but pretty close. Abbie and Temper had a standing non-relationship that was good. Temper would ask her out, she would say no and they would part – on good terms. That all changed when Abbie finally said yes – after the one time he didn’t ask her at all. They spent one of the most romantic nights of Abbie’s life, until it ended with her being held hostage – for her own safety.
Minus the kidnapping and obvious danger, this was one of the more fun reads so far in the Knights of Fury series. It was nice seeing how the previous couples were doing and watching the “girls” take Abbie under their wing. It helped Abbie understand the MC much better and gave her someone to vent to – and she needed to vent – a lot!
There were also a lot of twists and turns in Temper along with some pretty surprising revelations that I didn’t see coming. Also, this story was told from Abbie’s POV, which was great, but there were times that I wanted to know what was going on in Temper’s head too… or maybe not? And yeah, these guys are still growing on me – to the point that I’m actually hoping that there’s more. And no, I didn’t see that coming either. 😉
I received Temper in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Great take on MC romance
Temper is a refreshing take on the MC trope. Abbie is a badass and Temper is a sweet and sexy biker boyfriend we can all love. This MC romance is not riddled with mysogyny and macho culture. The women were loved and respected in meaningful ways and even made critical parts of the overall club decisions. Very wonderful to read. However, the smut was very tame for this type of book and the plot itself was extremely unrealistic and basic. This is my first book by this author so I'm not sure if this is her typical writing style or just one.bad egg. Will read her again though. This book gets three chili peppers of hotness!
I received a free ARC from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. All thoughts are my own.
