Although I enjoyed the Clifton Chronicles and Archer's other works of fiction

My introduction to Jeffrey Archer was his short stories and they are still my favorites. This collection features a mix of O'Henryesque surprise endings or reveals. There are a couple of clever entries that are exactly one hundred words and even one story that gives the reader the choice of three possible endings as Archer himself couldn't decide how he wanted the tale to end! The short stories take place in various locales and center on a variety of characters though most seem to trying to get away with something... Although I enjoyed the Clifton Chronicles and Archer's other works of fiction, my true hope is that he continues writing short stories.
