Personal Story and Food Narrative

Taste: My Life Through Food is a good blend of personal story and food narrative. Similar in style and structure to Valerie Bertinelli's Enough Already, Taste is a great look into the actor's life and his philosophy on food. In small part, this book can also serve as a travel guide, if one is interested in the restaurants extolled upon by the famous actor.

Stanley Tucci has definitely led an interesting life and he is refreshingly unapologetic for his success. The biggest takeaway from the book is that living well within your limitations is definitely possible. Strength and determination show through in Tucci's writing, and Taste can serve as an inspiration to others. I definitely recommend the audio version of this book, as Stanley Tucci's narration gives the book a lift. The only negative is that readers will need to have a pen handy, as well as a finger near the reverse button, in order to take down the many delicious recipes located within the book.

Loved this book

This is one of the most enjoyable books I have ever listened to and of course Stanley Tucci is a wonderful narrator...
Unfortunately disk #4 was not audible so I am returning the cd. That being said, I still enjoyed the rest of the audio very very much!
