Description

Praise for Game Over, Super Rabbit Boy (Press Start! #1): "The fast, repetitive plot uses basic, simple sentences and child-friendly objects of interest, such as lakes of lava, for children working on reading independence, while the nerdy in-jokes benefit adults reading with a child. A strong series start." -- Kirkus Reviews "A strong addition to most chapter book collections, especially where there are gamers." -- School Library Journal "The gaming gimmick and graphic layout is sure to appeal to many readers, especially reluctant ones." -- Booklist Thomas Flintham loves to draw and tell stories, so he's lucky to be a full-time doodler and illustrator. He writes and illustrates the bestselling Press Start! early chapter book series. Thomas lives in the UK, but you can find him at thomasflintham.com.

Great for 1st or 2nd grader

It is hard to find books my son is interested in reading and he really enjoys these. Bought these for my son last summer and we would read two to three chapters a night. Now he can read the whole thing in one evening. He really likes that they are in color. It is too bad he is outgrowing this series.

Great story and wonderfull illustrations.

My son enjoyed reading the time travel adventures. It was exciting trying to keep tabs on baby rabbit boy super rabbit boy and super rabbit man. All in all a great story. But, the same complaint with the quality of the binding of the book. Hopefully this will last longer than the previous books before falling apart.

Turn them into a reader

I wanted my son to love reading, but he wasn't getting into it. I got this book series to peak his interests and it worked. Lots of fun pictures, video game story line, and easy text. Great series to get them started.

Nice books, poor binding

This was the first series my son was interested in, and he still loves the books and retreads them. One thing i have noticed though, is that they seem to lose pages much easier than other books we own (equate to a small library). Not every book has fallen apart, and I'm not sure they were ALWAYS treated with the upmost care (smaller siblings), but 3 or 4 books of the series have been losing pages.
So just be aware parents - make sure your kids are extra nice to these! Happy reading!

Great series but poor quality binding

My kids love these books and are happy to read them which is a plus BUT…. the binding/glue is really bad on many of these that we’ve had pages falling out the first day we got the book.

Book fell apart!

My daughter loves reading this book. Unfortunately, the book started to come apart the first time she read the book. We have lost a few pages over time as the book fell apart completely. I guess we got one from a bad batch and now I need to replace it.

5 stars for a great story kids love. 1 star for poor quality binding.

Book falls apart

Read other reviews saying the book falls apart from the spine. It did but we could still read it with no issues. Son loves this series so over all it was worth it.

Falling apart

We love these books but this is the 3rd one we’ve bought that the pages are falling out when we get it. And I bought it to take on a trip we don’t have time to return it and we obviously can’t take it on a trip in this condition. Disappointing
